This year at Canary Wharf we will be adding to our pop up beach court, with a half size sitting volleyball court. Did you know, sitting volleyball is a faster game than indoor or beach volleyball. Athletes sit on the ground and move swiftly with their legs and arms to hit the ball to their team mates or across the net. The rules are similar to the other volleyball disciplines, where you score by getting the ball down to the floor on your opponent's side.

We will be partnering with British Volleyball to enable the public to come and try the sport with sitting volleyball activators to assist in the technique and skill of the sport.

On key dates, Great Britain Sitting Volleyball athletes and coaches will be coming along to help schools, individuals and corporates see just how competitive they can be at sitting volleyball.
