SHINE is a leading UK charity providing specialist advice and support from before birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff.
The services, provide a lifeline for members, through a network of local Support and Development Workers and a team of health, education and disability benefits specialists.
Spina Bifida develops before birth and can bring a multitude of difficulties, including loss of mobility, incontinence, pain, discomfort, health complications, learning disabilities, making daily life extremely challenging.
