LIVE LOT: 5 nights of Safari & Beach in Kenya

Lewa House, on the Northern slopes of Mt Kenya, is offering 3 nights for 2 people. Lewa is a small family owned and run safari lodge within the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, offering exceptional wildlife experiences and a wide variety of activities. As a family they have been conserving wildlife here since the 1920's and were early adopters of the Community Conservation approach, which has now been running formally for the last 30 years. The family have run their home as a lodge since 2012 and enjoy sharing the wonders of local flora, fauna and cultural heritage with their guests.

This visit includes: Full board accommodation, food and drinks; Transport to/from the Lewa airstrip/main gate; Day and night game drives, walks and Conservancy activities. The cost of the following will be additional: Conservation fees of $185 per night, per person; any Horse & Camel rides, visits to Community villages, visits to the Ngare Ndare Forest; Transport to/ from the Conservancy.

Either before or after your visit to Lewa you are offered 2 nights in a romantic bungalow overlooking the ocean on Chale Island. The epitome of pure escapism, combining nature at its most spectacular, an elegant beach resort and a warm Kenyan welcome, Chale Island provides the perfect backdrop for a scuba diving adventure.

Chale Island is one of a kind in Kenya. With the blissful Indian Ocean, teeming with life literally on your door step, the island also offers mangroves and a coastal forest flourishing with bird and insect life. Nature lovers are in for a real treat here. Located 600 metres from the mainland, Chale Island is a fantastic bolt-hole getaway, perfect for those that like the idea of remote locations.

Your visit will be on a half board basis and will include the option of either learning to scuba dive or joining our scuba diving boat if you are already an avid scuba diver.

ONLINE BIDDING ON THIS LOT WILL CLOSE AT 6PM ON 21st MARCH, HOWEVER MAXIMUM BIDS MAY BE LEFT. THESE BIDS WILL BE HANDED TO THE AUCTIONEER ON SATURDAY 22nd MARCH AND INCLUDED IN THE LIVE AUCTION BIDDING AT THE BALL.
