A day’s fishing for 5 rods at Fishponds on The Tay

A fantastic opportunity for 5 rods to fish the Fishponds beat of The Tay. Fishponds is situated upstream of Scone Palace on the lower reaches of the River Tay. The beat is two miles in length, and it sits downstream of Benchil & Pitlochrie, and upstream of the Waulkmill and Almondmouth beats above the tide. The attraction of Fishponds on the River Tay, is that you never know if it’s going to be a 9lb fish or a 35lb belter that grabs hold. It’s a big river, a lot of water comes down it, and there’s always a chance to catch a really big fish. Between June to 15th October last year 123 fish were caught! Included with the lot will be 2 Ghillies and 2 boats with lunch laid on as well. Date by agreement but between late July and 15th October and subject to availability.
