Joy (Jordania)'s Story
On April 24th, I will be facing one of my biggest fears: cycling in a race! I'm taking on this challenge to raise funds for the Bridges for Music Academy, a pioneering school in Langa, Cape Town, South Africa, that supports young, underserved creatives. I couldn't be more excited to be a part of this initiative!The Academy spans 1,000 square meters and features top-notch recording studios, computer labs, DJ areas, and a unique educational program that integrates music, entrepreneurship, and mental health. Additionally, it serves as a safe haven where students and alumni can genuinely express themselves. Over the past three years, I have met many talented students and become a strong supporter of this initiative, even personally investing in it.I only experienced riding a race bike for the first time two weeks ago, so this is definitely going to be a challenge for me! But if the purpose is clear, anything is possible, right? Your support in making this happen means the world to me and the Langa community. With your help, I can make it through that finish line!
