England men ended their Six Nations campaign with defeat to Grand Slam winners Ireland in Dublin. With two victories from five matches, England finished the 2023 Six Nations Championship in fourth place.

England women (Red Roses) entered the 2023 tournament as defending champions, having completed a Grand Slam in 2022 and retained their title with a 38–33 victory over France in the final game and the first ever stand alone women’s International at Twickenham in front of a world record crowd of 58,498.
