Emily Scarratt is best known as the player who secured England’s 2014 Women’s World Cup triumph with six minutes left in the game. A talented all-rounder, she turned down the offer of a US Basketball Scholarship at the age of 16 before bursting onto the Test scene in 2008 with 12 tries in 12 games. She was the top point-scorer at the 2014 World Cup and also bagged scored 56 points at the 2017 World Cup as England reached the final. Emily captained Team GB at the Rio Olympics, won a bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and represented England at the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens. She returned to the 15-a-side game in January 2019, joining Loughborough Lightning and was awarded a full-time England contract. She scored two tries in the Red Roses’ 80-0 win over Scotland at Twickenham as England secured the Women’s Six Nations title. Emily was a stand-out performer at the 2019 Super Series, finishing as top try-scorer and also secured a number of points as goal-kicker. She was also named in Sky Sports’ ‘Team of the Tournament’. Emily was named World Rugby’s Women’s Player of the Year in November 2019 and became the highest ever Red Roses points scorer in the 2020 Six Nations.

Natasha Hunt’s rugby career began at the age of 17 when her PE teacher suggested that she tried the sport. Her England dream became reality in the space of a few months as she progressed from the West Midlands trials, the high-performance academy and trials for the England U20 squad. She went on to start the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup final, earning her 29th cap and victory over Canada. Natasha then represented Team GB in sevens at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Returning to XVs, she was awarded with a full-time professional EPS contract in 2016 and was part of the squad that reached a second successive World Cup final in 2017. She represented England Sevens at the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens as well as winning a bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, before returning to XVs with a full-time contract in January 2019 and joining Gloucester-Hartpury. Success continued in 2019 when she played in every game of the Women’s Six Nations as England won the Grand Slam. She earned her 50th cap in the November test against Italy. Hunt featured in the 2023 TikTok Women's Six Nations Championship before retaining her spot in the Red Roses squad for the inaugural WXV tournament in New Zealand later that year.
