Hendricks Hollow is set in the lovely little village of Normanby, North Yorkshire, the perfect location for exploring the spectacular countryside all around, just 8 miles from Malton, foodie capital of the North and close to Helmsley, Thornton-le-Dale, Pickering and the coast. With the most wonderful far reaching views, and incredible sunsets, you will find peace and relaxation at this beautiful escape for two. The cottage is full of character, with its original wooden beams, stone walls and vaulted ceiling. The open plan living space is all on one level, it is large and airy with a cosy wood-burning stove and French doors looking out across the fields. Enjoy the private garden with everything you need for dining alfresco, in the meadow there’s a fire pit, an idyllic spot for a sundowner.
The open plan living space is well laid out with comfy sofas by the log fire and views out to the fields beyond, perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring the Moors and all that the area has to offer. The kitchen is well appointed, it will impress the most discerning of cooks, being open to the dining space makes it good for chatting about the day’s adventures while cooking up a tasty supper or preparing a hearty breakfast while planning a ramble across the fields. In the spacious, comfortable bedroom, the super king size bed can be converted into two singles if you prefer. This pretty room enjoys lovely views out to the private garden. You will also find little Hendrick himself, nestled by the window, he is such a cutie! The cottage is surrounded by spectacular countryside, there is a private garden with garden furniture just for you and there’s a firepit in the meadow, the perfect spot for a sundowner.
