Jajo Fidu by Zieta Studio
Description
Oskar Zięta is an architect, process designer and artist who creates enduring, lightweight objects that were proclaimed “furniture of the future” by Wired magazine created with his proprietary FiDU technology. This has led to objects like the Plopp stool as well as sculptures like Wir (2017), Nawa (2017) and Hempel (2024). His objects are found in museums including the Pinakothek, Munich and the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
Jajo FiDU is ultralight, monomaterial, filled with air and imbued with Polish tradition. The engravings are inspired by Polish folk ornaments, and Oskar weaves in the elephant—an emblem of wisdom and strength—dedicated to the “Elephant Family.” This “flattened” egg is the result of FiDU, an innovative, unique technology of transforming metal — an enduring, monomaterial object designed to last for generations.
