A Vintage Flying Weekend at London Biggin Hill

This exclusive prize is for 4 guests, who will be able to sit back and relax in style for an experience of a lifetime at London’s preeminent business aviation airport.
Your party will arrive and check-in at London Biggin Hill’s boutique hotel, The Landing – where you will receive a warm welcome from the airport’s CEO. Your stay will be full board, and you and your guests will dine in style at the Approach Bar and Restaurant.
The next day, you will be transported back in time with an array of vintage flying experiences with Shipping and Airlines. Your party will participate in a number of exhilarating flights in some truly unique aircraft, including a De Havilland Chipmunk, Miles Messenger and a De Havilland Hornet Moth – one of only 15 airworthy Hornet Moth’s in the world.
In the afternoon, your party will enjoy another flight experience, and savour the timeless glamour of flying in a DeHavilland Rapide, operated by Scillonia Airways and Captained by Aerobility Chairman Shona Bowman. Your flight will take you on a breathtaking sightseeing tour over Central London, where every twist and turn unveils a new chapter in the city’s captivating story.
After soaring gracefully through the sky over London, your party will then enjoy a behind-the-scenes tours of the airport, including visits to Bombardier’s award-winning service centre, the largest business jet facility in the UK, and the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar, which is host to the largest collection of Spitfires in the world.
That evening, you will retire to The Landing Hotel for a second night, and enjoy a relaxed meal. The following day, you and your guests will be treated to another rare and unique flight experience as you take to the skies in the Shipping and Airlines owned DeHavilland Dragonfly, for a poignant flight over the White Cliffs of Dover.
On your return, you and your guests will relax and enjoy a special afternoon tea experience back at the Landing Hotel.
