Chinook Crew Chick - Signed by the Author on the Night

Liz McConaghy joined the RAF as a Chinook Crewman on her 19th birthday. Throughout her career on Chinooks, she deployed twice to Iraq and 10 times to Afghanistan as well as to the Falklands and Northern Ireland, her home ‘turf’. On leaving the RAF, Liz joined Aerobility as the representative for Wounded, Injured and Sick members of the Armed Forces, which she was naturally drawn to, helping many of them, on their recovery journey.

Recently, Liz has become a motivational speaker and travels all around the UK to give the one of the most inspirational and interesting talks around. Liz has also recorded the book as an audiobook, and is looking to write more in the future! Stay tuned for more from this talented and inspiration writer.
