Özbek scours Turkey and Central Asia for the most sumptuous new and antique fabrics and embroideries and applies his designer’s touch, ensuring that the back of each pillow is as beautiful as the front. “It is just like a jacket with an amazing lining,” he says. Rifat also adds fragrant dried lavender to the down inside each pillow, so that each time you lean against one of them, you are hit with the fabulously soothing scent. 

He first launched in Istanbul and has one boutique outpost in London.
