Begg x Co designs and manufactures responsible cashmere knitwear, accessories and homeware for the modern lifestyle with mills in Ayr on the west coast of Scotland and Hawick, 'The Home of Cashmere', in the Scottish Borders.  Scotland's rugged coastline, imposing mountains and cinematic skies in contrast to areas of gritty urban sprawl offers a paradox of nature and industry; a duality that perennially inspires the Begg x Co collections.

Reminiscent of the striking works of Rothko and Albers, this pure cashmere blanket is a piece crafted for both visual and tactile delight. Sourced from nomadic farming communities in Inner Mongolia, cashmere is spun into yarn in Italy before arriving at our Scottish mills. After being woven in house, fabric is grazed with teasels for a rich brushed effect, cut into throws and then heat pressed overnight using a 60-year-old paper press to seal the signature ripples in place. A refreshing addition to a reading nook or bed, and the ultimate gift for a tasteful homebody.
