“The message behind my egg is the importance of loving people and treating people fairly. The vivid colours of my egg represent the many colours of people in our world, with the girl and boy representing all the children. The eye represents people who are different; it is seeing through their eyes. No one should treat anyone differently; everyone should treat people fairly. The swirly lines show how journeys through life are not a straight path. We need to learn to grow, and be thankful.
Art should show what you really feel; if it does you will be a great artist. Art should be shared so people all over the world can express how they feel. Making this egg I felt happy, confident and optimistic for our future.”
