“The Cross is a black Fineliner interpretation of The Market Cross, a Grade I listed building, historically a marketplace and now a meeting point, in the heart of Chichester.
The Egg illustrates The Cross' repetition of the flying buttresses and pinnacles, decorated with gothic crockets and finials abutting off a central column, of which a dial sits above to display the time to the principal streets of Chichester. On the many faces, is a pointed arch with the Bishop's mitre at the centre, and a tablet above to commemorate The Cross' reparation during Charles II reign."
Terms and Conditions:
All eggs must be collected in person if possible from Chichester Festival Theatre, or can be hand delivered if you live within a 50 mile radius.
