“Dappled light flits through a woodland where a woman strides purposefully round and around searching for her wonderland. She is magnificent in nature and her journeys end a mystery. This painted egg comes from a series of paintings I am working on embodying women in nature, fairy tales and a sense of time standing still in an ancient woodland where we feel a sense of unknowing about what stretches before us. Enraptured by the beauty nature bestows.”
