“For this project, I painted the egg to reflect themes of growth, time, and rebirth, drawing inspiration from nature’s organic shapes. I often explore the relationship between order and chaos, and this is echoed in my minimalistic approach.
The egg itself, a symbol of new beginnings, allowed me to emphasize movement and growth through simple, fluid forms that wind around its surface. The continuous lines and shapes I’ve painted represent the earth’s constant motion, much like the passage of time.
As the viewer moves around the egg, they experience a sense of progression, mirroring the natural cycle of life. The design reflects the emergence of new possibilities, much like the role of The Nest – a space to nurture creativity and new talent.”
Terms and Conditions:
All eggs must be collected in person if possible from Chichester Festival Theatre, or can be hand delivered if you live within a 50 mile radius.
