Ballindalloch Fishing experience

Enjoy two days’ salmon fishing for two rods on the Ballindalloch Trust beat of the River Avon during the 2025 season; and a tour and tutored tasting for two people of Ballindalloch Distillery, the Estate’s Single Malt Scotch Whisky distillery; along with 2 nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast in a shared twin room at The Delnashaugh, Ballindalloch Estate’s fishing lodge.

After a Welcome in the Entrance Hall of the Distillery from our Host, you will have a Tour of the production facilities and the Warehouse, in the course of which you will learn all about whisky-making and the Single Estate Distillery approach being taken by the Macpherson-Grant family, before enjoying a tutored Tasting in the Long Room.

The Avon’s pools and runs offer excellent stocks of fish, depending on the time of year and the height of water. A delight to fish, there is something for every fishermen in the variety of challenges which the river presents.  The fishing is almost entirely double bank; there are basic huts; and a ghillie is shared between the 6 rotating beats.
