Polka Theatre is the home of children's theatre. Since opening our doors in 1979, we've been at the forefront of inspirational, inclusive, and joyful theatre. As the UK's Most Welcoming Theatre 2024, we are dedicated to making Polka accessible to everyone so that all children can be empowered by the power of theatre.
To open our doors even wider, we are committed to raising £30,000 to deliver Polka’s Access Programme which helps Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent children have equal opportunity to enjoy the arts at Polka. Every pound raised will directly help children across London experience our year-round relaxed, audio-described, captioned, and BSL performances, alongside our extensive workshops and theatre experiences for children who are disabled or have additional needs. These initiatives are designed to uplift aspirations, build confidence, and enhance wellbeing.
